Celebrate the magic of Christmas at The Grange with a festive itinerary crafted to enchant and delight, set against the backdrop of Morecambe Bay and the Lake District fells.
Thursday 24th December: Arrival Day
Arrive from 3pm to a warming mulled wine and gold-dusted mince pies. Stroll the Grange Promenade or unwind in our calming spa, then join us in the candlelit lounge for Prosecco and festive canapés before a sumptuous three-course Christmas Eve Dinner.
Friday 25th December: Christmas Day
Wake to breakfast and a glass of Bucks Fizz, followed by a traditional Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings. In the evening, enjoy a Classic Christmas Cocktail in the lounge, a traditional Christmas film, and a classic evening buffet in our Carriages restaurant.
Saturday 26th December: Boxing Day
Whether you’re up for a bracing Lake District walk or a slow start, sip a cappuccino on the Terrace Balcony overlooking Morecambe Bay, take a scenic cruise on Lake Windermere, or warm up with a hot chocolate in the Library.
Sunday 27th December: Departure
A farewell breakfast amid the serene Lake District scenery before you depart with cherished memories and, we hope, a booking for next year already in mind.
New Year's Eve in The Lake District
Ring in 2027 in style at The Grange, without lifting a finger. Our New Year’s celebration promises gourmet dining, breathtaking decorations, and an unforgettable countdown.
Wednesday 30th December: Arrival Day
Arrive from 3pm to a Sparkling Bellini and chocolate-dipped strawberries. Relax in the spa, then gather for an Evening Grazing Table of hot and cold dishes.
Thursday 31st December: New Year’s Eve
Dress to thrill for a night of Bond-worthy glamour: cocktails, casino games, live music and fireworks. Black tie elegance, casino tables worthy of Monte Carlo, and a red-carpet countdown to 2027.
Friday 1st January: New Year’s Day
A hearty breakfast, then a seaside stroll into town or a trip to Windermere, 15 miles away. Warm up in the Library with a spiced Winter Pimm’s before a relaxed evening meal.
Saturday 2nd January: Departure
A farewell breakfast amid the Lake District’s winter beauty, before you head home relaxed, restored, and ready for the new year.
